Santa Fe, New Mexico
Santa Fe, New Mexico, is one of my favorite places in the U.S. to photograph and spend time, along with its sister arts community, Taos. The vibrant colors, fresh desert air, unique Southwestern cultural atmosphere and history are absolutely intoxicating. The art scene and galleries in this capital city of roughly 69,000 is second to none, along with great restaurants and awe-inspiring vistas, including the surrounding Sangre de Cristo (blood of Christ) mountains.
